About the Author
Sandra K. Abell is Professor of science education and Director of the Science Education Center at the University of Missouri-Columbia. A former elementary school science teacher, Abell has conducted numerous teaching and research projects in elementary and middle level science classrooms in collaboration with classroom teachers. She is the author of numerous articles for teachers and researchers, coeditor of the forthcoming Handbook of Research on Science Education, and past president of the National Association for Research in Science Teaching (NARST).

Best Science Education Research Resource

I am working on a dissertation for my doctorate and have found this resource to be invaluable! This is the best science research resource that I have found. The articles are scholarly and relevant and provide excellent suggestions for implications and future research studies. I would definitely recommend this resource to anyone who is interested in science education research!

Printing error

The product arrived in a timely manner but the cover had a printing defect. I don't feel like sending it back just for that but for $100, I thought somebody in quality control would have noticed before they shipped it out. After all, it's on the front cover.
