About the Author
As a daughter to missionary parents, Kimberly spent the first 18 years of her life in Asia with only periodic visits "home" to Canada. With limited access to television, Kimberly spent many hours reading and creating stories in her head. Thus began her love of the written word! She enjoys reading Christian romance (Inspirational Romance), Romantic Suspense and most anything by Dean Koontz! The years that followed her high school graduation and subsequent return to Canada involved becoming a wife and a mother to 4 beautiful children. Though the past several years have taken some unexpected twists and turns and have had ups and downs, God continues to work. "Under construction" is the best way to describe Kimberly's life! Along with writing, Kimberly loves to read, bake and pin craft ideas on Pinterest...and once in a while, she actually tries her hand at one! Living in the cold of central Canada, Kimberly finds winters a great time to hunker down with a good book or spend time getting to know the characters for her next book. Wow! Wonderful Book...

I just finished the last sentence of this book and all I can say is "Wow, what a wonderful book!" I am an avid reader, thus I can usually spot good writing when I see it. However I can probably count on one hand the number of reviews I've ever posted, with a few fingers left over. Yet upon finishing this book I felt compelled to write a review to voice my satisfaction. I can honestly say it is one of the best books I've read in this category. I was completely taken in by the characters, even though I didn't go into it with high hopes. The plot line described on the cover, had the opportunity to go wrong in so many ways for me. However I found that author masterfully wove the story, so that it was fresh, well-paced, and emotionally stirring. I even found myself tearing up at the characters emotional turmoil at times. Three things often bugs me about religious fiction novels. 1. When the novel is too predictable...2. When the characters fixate on one emotional problem or situation, and can't seem to get over it until some miraculous awakening at the end 3. When one or more of the characters are so good and so Christian to the point of not being relatable. This novel steered clear of all three annoyances. Though I knew there would be a good ending I felt compelled to keep reading in order to know how it all would resolve. Though the characters were dealing with tough issues such as loss, grief, guilt, and isolation, I did not feel like I was being hit on the head over and over again. with their insecurities. Instead I found that the characters dealt with these issues in a natural progression, such that even I was learning along with them. I found the characters very real. Sometimes I wanted to smack the leading man for his callousness, and other times I wanted to hug him for his tenderness. Lastly, I want too say the the author was able to portray the attraction between the characters in such a way that set my heart pitter-pattering, and I was able to give a sigh of satisfaction at the end.

another amazing story by Kimberly. A wonderful love story. Kate career girl and Jared a world traveler how could these two ever find love. Story begins when four children are left parentless. Parents killed in a plane crash. Left to their Uncle Jared but he is assumed dead in a auto accident. Leaves their Aunt Kate to raise them but soon she finds out grandparents fight to get them. Meantime Uncle Jared returns he isn't dead but danger lurks. Plane crash was no accident. Neither was the helicopter crash he was in accident who is out to get him and why. What will happen to the little ones and to Kate. Well I could go on but I really think you should read. A wonderful story well written. You won't be disappointed in it. Will love endure?

Wish I could give more stars

This is the first book I've read by the author. I read it in one night staying up way too late! It's wonderful!!! One of the best books I've read in a while. It has so many facets-grief, romance, suspense. Most of all these characters were put in a situation they didn't see their lives becoming and found strength from God and each other. I will definitely be reading more by this author.
