Accidentally Fraudulent.....or....Intentionally Evil?

How would you feel if you thought you paid for a ticket to watch a movie and it turned out to be a trailer? This is what happened to this "book".
I cannot even call this a book. Nor does it warrants any review. It is basically a promotional item, like a movie trailer. Well, some good trailers actually hold your attention and make you interested in buying a ticket to see the movie. But this piece just left me wonder if I have purchased the wrong item from Amazon or I have failed to downloaded the whole book. When I got to the last part that said "TO BE CONTINUED", I quickly looked at the bottom of my Kindle where it showed it is only at 57% of the content. So I quickly flipped through the pages, and was aghast to find that the rest of the 43% was excerpts from her previous books (which I already owned). Amazon said this book has 118 page, so 57% is only 67 pages!
I understand there has been a trend for authors to leave a cliffhanger at the end of the book so that they can sell more sequels. But this ought to be a NEW low here, because there is really no story. If this is not a fraud I don't know what it is. After running into this huge, naked guy in the middle of nowhere (in a jungle where he is supposedly to be a god), the woman had sex with him and afterward witnessed him snapping her father's neck and killing him (who by the way was supposedly to be as crazy as all the characters in this "book"). Instead of getting angry, she told the guy that 'she loves him' (what? after being held hostage by him for 2 days?) Okay. I know this is a paranormal romance 'book' and a very short and incomplete one, but without any character or story development, this sounds more like someone who has recently escaped a mental asylum. If Ms. Pamfiloff can spend more time developing a sound story and her characters coherently rather than just keep increasing the size of her male protagonists and their manhood (by that rate they will be 10 feet tall with a manhood the size of a rolling pin hanging down to touch their toes in her 8th book).
I had quite enjoyed this author's books before - a no-brainer, fun, quick read although with each new book it seems to be more repetitive and characters being crazier. Still when I saw the pre-order on Amazon, I didn't hesitate to buy it - yes, I actually pre-ordered *grumph*
It is sad to see how an author abuses readers' loyalty as such. I will NEVER buy her books again.

Quirky, silly and just...fun.

What would you nickname the God of Male Virility? The Deity of Dick, of course! Oh my god. What a quirky, silly, fun read. I absolutely loved the writing in Accidentally...Evil? Laughed my ass off and just had a great time with it.
So, Accidentally...Evil? is just a taste of the series and sort of a look into the past on how two of the secondary characters met and what happened between them that turn a good god bad.
Chaam is the god of male virility and spends all his time making sure everyone else in the world gets a bit of sheet time (birds, bees, grasshoppers in love with ladybugs, you name it). But he hasn't been able to touch a woman in 70,000 years because of a pesky "if gods touch humans they damn near die" issue.
Until he stumbles upon the very human and injured Maggie deep in the jungle and miracle of miracles can actually touch her without causing her life threatening pain. I loved these two. They're fun and entertaining, sexy and have a nice bit of chemistry going between them.
It was fun watching the two feel each other out, seeing Maggie finding out about gods and their crazy and falling for each other. Things do move quick but eh you know, he's a god of male virility, what do you expect?
There's some really good drama there towards the end and yeah there's a total cliff hanger. These two, from what I've gathered, play a part in the other books in the series sort of as a secondary storyline maybe? Not 100% sure on that since I read out of order but that's the feeling I got from it. And theirs will continue on in the next book that way too.
If you're looking for a read that's a little bit silly, a little bit sexy and a whole lot of fun you need to pick Accidentally...Evil? up. It's an easy read and can be read without the rest of the series with no problems but I'd say go grab book one first. I'm off to pick up the other three now. Damn it was a funny one.
